Totally taken by surprise, our days are taken by spending all our time and energy in the hospital, fighting for the life of our Mother. As it all went so well, she even prepared herself for a miracle with a heart if great expectation, suddenly death is so close again.
Going in this roller-coaster of emotions and uncertainty, I wrote it on my twitter, as the Lord really made clear, At old age Sarah gave birth to a son! So the issue is not age but purpose! Someone is still expecting! So let’s not give in and not give up! Well, with all the ups and downs, this has been the biggest fight of not giving up and not giving in the midst of the “wisdom and truth” of the reports that surrounds us.
To be honest, the fight is intense, but not about letting go because of age or love, but because Father is speaking through it very clear. Making decision on what is seen is such an intense and difficult thing. Stretching life when it is not meant to be can even be so cruel! So I had to ask the Lord where we are and what we can expect and it clearly came to me: On that day the Lord will ⌊extend⌋ His hand a second time to recover… (Isaiah 11:11 HCSB) and with it verse 3 where the Lord promises us The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him — a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight will be in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, He will not execute justice by what He hears with His ears, (Isaiah 11:2, 3 HCSB)
You can understand with all the advise around and the visible sight in front of you, you need Him to clear the atmosphere.
For those who understand the fight, you understand that it is not about an emotional attachment of not wanting to let go. The promises and words we live from makes where we are now and she (our mother) is a vital part of the generational blessing God wants to spread even over this nation. We don’t want anyone to slip out through the backdoor, but a glorious farewell through the gate of glory.
I have been writing about being alert and even today as if it looks like loosing the battle, every minute, every impression is speaking on behalf of the nation of our calling, Sweden. On the Alert, blinks in the corner of my inner-room as a red warning of the battle and process we are moving into.
For me, looking at the condition of my mother-in-law, I am looking to the remnant of the body of Christ which looks so weak, so disabled but while calling in her spirit and awakening her inner being it makes me aware of our effort to speak to the body of Christ. It looks like the church accepted the condition of the outer look; lame, blind, speechless but waiting for someone who understands that there is hope since it still reacts on on the song that contain the truth.
God speaks through the word, in nature, in church, in the inner rooms and even, even in this exhausting situation in the hospital, where our body is so tired but our spirit is alive and well. You need to disconnect from the circumstances and your personal pain to even here hear Him speak.
I feel like when we give up on the situation of our mother, we will easily give up in our situation with the promise about the nation of our calling, Sweden. We don’t know what is next but until further notice, I stay with the promise, the revelation and refuse to go with what my eyes and my ears will try to tell me.
As the girls sang their songs, the room was filled with the Glory, the Peace, the Presence. As they repeated the only name we can have on our lips, Jesus, Jesus, I felt hope and life flowing out of this little room and with the words of the song about the wings of the eagle, they started to fly out over Sweden.
We live in Jönköping, the place of a former revival from 1850 to 1950. We believe God is going to do it again and with the releasing of the promise of Isaiah 11:11 On that day the Lord will ⌊extend⌋ His hand a second time to recover… I believe God says: I will do it again, a second time for the remnant of My people who survived. I will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed (of Israel); I will collect the scattered of Judah (people of praise) from the four corners of the earth. (Isaiah 11:2, 3, 11, 12 HCSB)
With even not knowing what is next, sitting in this little restroom in the hospital, there is this peace in me that a glorious moment is going to be our part!
We wait for you, we wait for you, walk in the room, Shekinah glory come in!
The words had a broader spread than the life of Augustina, my mother-in-law. And understanding that, she formed her lips and pressed out the air: HALLELUJAH!
