Isn’t that the most beautiful answer you can ever get…?
“I will do the very thing you have asked, because i am pleased with you and I know you by name!”

For the past days, I entered a kind of a faith crisis, as it is not so much about the One and Only God, but more about the way I am able to address issues, to find answers.
Through the tragic situation of Joelle (12 years old) and her terrible headaches and pain and sleepless nights, I am struggling these days with the encouraging words and in the same time the reality of her condition. So much answers are coming in as we send out an (International) Prayer Alert and we are overwhelmed by the reaction, knowing that there is 24/7 prayer on behalf of her.
The most significant answer that I received was from a young woman, fighting her own situation and seeking The Father for an answer:

Esther 4:14, interpeted from how I read it..
For if you (we) keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews (believers) from elsewhere, BUT you (we) and our father´s house (believing community) will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom (Sweden) for such a time as this and for this very occasion?

Joelle, has been called, and is probably standing in the midst of strong spiritual battle. Though we may not see it, I believe that ‘cuttlefishes’ are clinging their way on believers. Going through a same kind of experience, being bothered by intense eye migraine & flocks before my eyes, I believe we NEED a praying community, watchmen who refuse to go to sleep while the enemy tries to steal and destroy. We are the salt and light on the earth, so all filth and darkness must go.. RIGHT NOW!

I decided for the coming days to take a fasting, a seeking Him, a focussed time of dedication. When I saw this fine picture this morning I knew that that is the only thing we need in a time like this.
Of course we can just move on to the “promised land”, but is our destiny land, work, provision or is it the author and finisher of Life? What is the use of moving forward, having a good time, even a nice promised place when He decides to leave?
Many people have done it, not even aware that He is not with them anymore and many times I have experienced the same empty place as “all was there” and His absence was not noticed.
I have grow up with the provision of a father, the clothes, the house, the bed and the food. It was all available but, he was not! It is no option for me to do the same with The Father!

The movie where this picture showed up was called: A Culture of Presence!
When a culture of Presence is the reflecting of His presence. When we live a community of love and being available for God, for each other and for the world and in that way make visible the Presence of God in our Culture, I am certain that the landscape of despair would change into an environment of HOPE.

…we NEED a praying community, watchmen who refuse to go to sleep while the enemy tries to steal and destroy. She write and I believe that the change we can make is living a Presence, a Community that “pray”!

Moses, desperate stated, after making himself into a fool by taking a nation from captivity through the desert to an unknown destination: How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” (Exodus 33:16 NIV)

Coming to my point after all the out load thinking, if we pray and suffering continues, if we build Storehouses and no provision will enter the place, if we worship and no release will come… What else will distinguish me/us from all the other people..?

Without the presence of the most high God, we are just words, opions, nice food and good music!

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. (Isaiah 58:6-12 NIV)
