A Bigger Perspective

A Bigger Perspective A big statement which you never use, addressing the pain of your 1 year old daughter, because of the vaccination she just received from the doctor. You don’t comfort her with this intellectual explanation of “seeing the bigger picture” of the why of her pain! You just hold her and understand the moment. But, for yourself, you understand the need of the injection and the reason of the resulting pain! It helps you at least to make yourself a “better parent”! If we loose the skill of looking beyond, we create dangerous moments of even bigger pain and sad causes!

Talking about Vision As parents it is essential to see beyond, because if you don’t you mis the future, you start questioning life and become totally isolated in your little small world. Being a parent has to do with multiplying yourself and extending your life by creating a lineage. Your are your parents offspring and your children become yours and in that way, we increase our life. Of course, when we start lacking vision, we eventually will perish.

Proverbs 29:18 says: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Perish:
1. To die or be destroyed, especially in a violent or untimely manner.
2. To pass from existence; disappear gradually.

A Bigger Perspective In order to be a “leader” a parent, a manager, a pastor or any other kind of forerunner, there has to be a goal to run after, a vision to aim for. Not like the election thing where we “run for president” and take the people for 4 year in a direction they don’t want to go, finding ourself the next 4 years going into the totally opposite direction. One the of biggest problem we face today is the lack of community, a life “together” with a vision that is beyond our “great ideas”! Thats where the Word comes in and that why the leaders we choose need to know the Word, a vision that is beyond!

“I will make youths their leaders, and the unstable will govern them.”
The people will oppress one another, man against man, neighbour against neighbour;
the youth will act arrogantly toward the elder, and the worthless toward the honourable. Isaiah 3:4,5

It is a scary time we life in, where there is bright ideas, enormous creativity, but… in the same time an overflow of arrogance, lack of future, “vision” without divinity, youth without stability because we killed the bigger perspective, the eternal mindset, the everlasting understanding.
So, you will understand the need of returning hearts, a thing we can not organise but essential in our efforts. We need to bow down and reach out. We need to make this generation be connected to their past in order to have a future. We need to go into our inner chambers and download vision, future, bigger perspective and speak those words. We need to have a revolutionary understanding and to speak beyond what we see and hear in the now!

When God Shows you a Vision, a passion, a picture of you doing something you’ve never done – it’s actually the future calling you. Answer the Phone!

“Samuel, Samuel…” “Who is calling?”
My advise: Make your offspring skilled in recognising the Voice of The Future!
