I Love Books…

The following Word that entered my inbox this morning through our valued brother Glenn H Jackson, reminded me on the post I wrote some years ago about the enormous amount of information that is demanding our attention. Even more today as parents, it needs skills and discernment to handle this pile of messages that try to reach us and our children. The way we handle the “main entrance” of our “houses” as Gatekeepers as of great importance for the development of the spirit of our children. Never ever take it for granted!

It is EXTREMELY important in this hour for every last one of My children to partake of only those “ministries” that I, by My Spirit, directly lead them to partake of. For any other path one takes will SURELY lead them into some form of confusion and darkness concerning spiritual things.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you”…. John 14:26 NASB

“Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. [Deut. 30:19; Jer. 21:8]”…. Matthew 7:13-14 The Amplified Translation

“God is not [a God] of confusion but of peace”…. 1 Corinthians 14:33 NASB

“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides”…. Matthew 6:33 The Amplified Translation

Ecclesiastes 12: 9-14
The Conclusion of the Matter
Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.
The words of the wise are like goads, their
collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd. Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.
Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.
Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

I love books, they always have an attraction on me, they shout on the shelves and beg to be bought! The nicer the cover, the more it has its call to me!
I like to buy books, I like to read books. Bookstores, libraries, all the same! When I visit someone, my first look (after meeting the people of course) is to examine the bookshelves! What they read helps me to have an understanding of their interests.
Publishing books has always been my passion and creating covers that reflects the message was the challenge I often gladly took!
Then, one day, I discovered that it did not satisfy me as I looked at the (many) books in my bookshelf and wondered, how many of these books did I start and how many did I really finish? It was that day, that I discovered that the whole issue of books was a tremendous hunger for impartation. Hunger for the “teachers” to teach me, for the “fathers” to impart and thats where my determination was born to reveal and make available, to store and to provide.

As this morning the announcement of (an other) good book came in, I realized that, how good the book probably is and how many more books carries the label “must read”, there is no way that I can find the time to read them all.

The book of Ecclesiastes is a great help in that way and reading the final chapter, it helped me to put it all in perspective. I have said it before and repeat it today: “Excess (more than necessary) information is corrupt information” and I like the words of Solomon as he concludes his ‘blues’ moment, writing this book!
Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.

In the same way I agree and see the importance in the one statement:
Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind!

I pray that Teachers will impart knowledge of upright and true words, words that are like firmly embedded nails.
I pray and make effort that it will lead to reveal hidden things, whether good or evil!
I thank the many, many writers for imparting the words as they were embedded like nails in my life! I thank the teachers, that taught me how to and what… and I hope that my writings will do the same.
