So the angel who was speaking with me said, “Proclaim: The Lord of Hosts says: I am extremely jealous for Jerusalem and Zion. I am fiercely angry with the nations that are at ease, for I was a little angry, but they made it worse. Therefore, this is what the Lord says: In mercy, I have returned to Jerusalem; My house will be rebuilt within it”—this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“and a measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem. Zechariah 1:14-16

I just try to get the full picture of what happens here, of who is speaking and of the reactions of the World today! So, there is am Angel speaking, there is Zechariah listening and there is the absolute declaration of GOD Himself, saying: My House Will Be Rebuilt. Full Stop, no doubt, not even a question or an option! And then there is… well let’s write down some names, totally random, but still: Stefan Löven, Barak Obama, ISIS, Iran, Svenska Kyrkan etc.

So there is the Potter and the clay, the Creator and the dust, the All Eternal and the -let’s say- 80 years, there is the Alpha and the Omega and the elected one for (hopefully) four years! Get my point?

Some other examples of God’s Declarations:
Psalm 110 This is the declaration of the Lord to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
Isaiah 19:4 I will deliver Egypt into the hands of harsh masters, and a strong king will rule it. This is the declaration of the Lord God of Hosts.
Jeremiah 2:19 Your own evil will discipline you; your own apostasies will reprimand you. Think it over and see how evil and bitter it is for you to abandon the Lord your God and to have no fear of Me. This is the declaration of the Lord God of Hosts.
Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in anyone’s death. ”This is the declaration of the Lord God. “So repent and live!

So, wouldn’t it be wise to read any of the news with the attitude: I hear what they say, I see what they (try to) do, but WHAT IS GOD’S DECLARATION?
