Who is Qualified…

Isaiah 22:15-25 The Lord God of Hosts said: “Go to Shebna, that steward who is in charge of the palace, and say to him: What are you doing here? Who authorized you to carve out a tomb for yourself here, carving your tomb on the height and cutting a crypt for yourself out of rock? Look, you strong man! The Lordis about to shake you violently. He will take hold of you, wind you up into a ball, and sling you into a wide land. There you will die, and there your glorious chariots will be — a disgrace to the house of your lord. I will remove you from your office; you will be ousted from your position.
“On that day I will call for my servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah. I will clothe him with your robe and tie your sash around him. I will put your authority into his hand, and he will be like a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the House of Judah. I will place the key of the House of David on his shoulder; what he opens, no one can close; what he closes, no one can open. I will drive him, like a peg, into a firm place. He will be a throne of honor for his father’s house. They will hang on him the whole burden of his father’s house: the descendants and the offshoots — all the small vessels, from bowls to every kind of jar. On that day” — the declaration of the Lord of Hosts — “the peg that was driven into a firm place will give way, be cut off, and fall, and the  load on it will be destroyed.” Indeed, the Lord has spoken.

When we read the story preceding these verses, what a profound message does it give to what is happening all over the world today.
No I am not referring to Israel but to the way God is dealing and will continue to deal with the leaders of this world.

This is what happened! Read those verses with the longing to hear what the Lord is saying:

8 He removed the defenses of Judah. On that day you looked to the weapons in the House of the Forest. 9 You saw that there were many breaches in the walls of the city of David. You collected water from the lower pool. 10 You counted the houses of Jerusalem so that you could tear them down to fortify the wall. 11 You made a reservoir between the walls for the waters of the ancient pool, but you did not look to the One who made it, or consider the One who created it long ago.

So, God removed the defences! He caused conflict in order to create an opportunity for repentance, for returning, for correcting, but…

Right, the BUT is the problem as it is mainly fuelled by pride, by stubbornness and through not looking to the One who made it!

When we loose the daily routine of coming before the Throne of CORRECTING, of humility where we bow down and when we allow others to bow down before us, the result is that even the most wonderful ministries, the most destined callings, the most profound and effective works are nothing but a distraction from honouring the Father and leading the people to Him instead of us! The awe we create with our blogs and articles, with our posts and pictures with beautiful verses can never ever replace our real praise and passion toward Him.

Was reading this analyse of John Piper (a preacher and teacher I highly respect) about the newly elected President of the United States of America and every word he was writing sounded so profoundly true! But I found myself sad by every word as they reflected something that I have recognised by pastors approaching my “spirituality” and almost brook my identity!

I needed to give a comment:

Every word Piper releases I so understand but… DEEPLY DISAGREE! I do not think we need to be the conscience of Mr. Trump, summing up the requirements for stepping into this huge and almost impossible Office. I don’t like (hate is maybe a too big expression) the way we Christians be each others conscience because we “fully understand” our heavenly Father! WE DON’T! We don’t understand Him picking David a weak father! We don’t understand Him allowing Tamarah being the prostitute to her father-in-law! We don’t understand Him choosing Cyrus and on and on and on… God heard the cry of a nation and no mother Theresa or Billy Graham was available. Not Ted Cruz could have done it, nor Rubio! He needed a Trump guy, a rough but totally honest sinner to do the job for THE CHURCH and the many unsaved, distracted and betrayed people! CHURCH, you were not there, not available! You withdraw the SOUND that influenced the ATMOSPHERE and focussed too much on creating perfect people!

Amos 5:23 Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. 24 But let justice flow like water, and righteousness, like an unfailing stream.

Whatever you can say of the man God choose, He is correctable, teachable and longing for justice to flow like water and righteousness like an unfailing stream. He is surrounded by the most effective, wise and godly team you could ever be!

Take down your blogs, stop justifying your opinions and redraw in your inner-room.
I am not judging! I take my own responsibility!

So, my point is that this is not just the next President!
This is God’s Oracle and answer to a nation and
HE IS REPLACING as HE FOUND THE QUALIFIED PERSON!
DO NOT ARGUE WITH GOD BUT WORK WITH HIM.
DON’T USE YOUR DIVINE GIFTS TO WORK AGAINST HIM.

WORK WITH GOD!
