“This is the declaration of the Lord to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The Lord will extend Your mighty scepter from Zion. Rule over Your surrounding enemies.” Psalms 110:1-2 HCSB
Do we really understand the significance of the time we live in? Do we realize the seriousness of the battle that is raging over the earth!
Darkness is fighting furious for the position it received from those who are supposed to be the Light, while there is a generation arising carrying the anointing of the “Priestly King” described in Psalm 110. The generation that “rests in His presence” understanding that the “battle is the Lord”! The generation that is born with a song to be released that is only meant for the King, the worship that is directed to The One that “Rules over the surrounding enemies”!
As the generation of doers, of organizers, of events is called to step back and make room for the “Dwellers” that will give room for the “Light that will conquer the darkness” there is a choice needed and a responsibility to be taken for the (organized) mess we have made of it.
The often (wrongly) used verse in 2 Chronicles 7:14 “and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”, is about a fully understanding of the sin we committed against our Lord! It’s not a corporate event we create but a heart condition we need to receive through the Spirit of the Lord. It’s the brokenness of a contrite spirit taking full responsibility for where this world is today!
I’ve written before, there is the need of a passion, a cry, a realizing of guilt that needs to arise in order to make room for a generation that carries the Fire, that has the boldness unless we will make room for them.
There is a new time upon the Body of Christ (as I rather choose this expression than “church”), a significance momentum where all is ready for God to move!
What keeps Him from doing so?
US, sitting on OUR throne, thinking we did fine so far.
Stepping down and making room!
Do we fully understand the proclamation made by King David by “stepping down” in front of the entire nation:
“Then King David rose to his feet and said, “Listen to me, my brothers and my people. It was in my heart to build a house as a resting place for the ark of the Lord’s covenant and as a footstool for our God. I had made preparations to build, but God said to me, ‘You are not to build a house for My name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.” 1 Chronicles 28:2-3 HCSB
He humbled himself and in the same time extended his life into the generations to come by saying: “He said to me, ‘Your son Solomon is the one who is to build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his father. I will establish his kingdom forever if he perseveres in keeping My commands and My ordinances as he is today.’” 1 Chronicles 28:6-7 HCSB
David understood the significance of “generations” where he acknowledged the “chosen” part but refused to make it “him”!
Intercessors, it’s time to change the scene, to change the focus, to make room for a new thing! It’s time for a Solomon generation, ready to receive “wisdom beyond understanding”, a generation that makes the right choices!
Let’s prepare the “materials” for those that are the successors of our efforts!
Declare in front of “the brothers and the people” that this is the Word of the Lord: The sons…
There is a Song to be sung and there is a generation that carries the needed skills to release it. A generation that is not hindered by a disturbing “history of battle and blood” but is equipped with the qualities required to fill the earth with the Song of the Lord.
While King David gave Solomon the plans, he made this statement: “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the Lord’s house is finished.” 1 Chronicles 28:20 HCSB
I’m thrilled to serve this generation and pray that ROOM WILL BE MADE, this summer!
We are short in time, but TIME IS UPON US!
