Thanks for your concern, but allow me to share my worries, knowing that I do not hold the truth. I’ve learned that it is obvious to trust the channels that voice your view with the devastating result of “inbreed” in your mind.
First of all let me make clear that my main focus is “seeking the Kingdom and His righteousness” (Matth. 6:33) and in the seeking, being a wide orientated person, I tend to also try to widely read myself in.
I have a healthy mistrust in the resources that provide the “information” called news. I realised with it that over the past decades we have been manipulated and conditioned in the way the “news” they wanted us to hear in order to “disciple nations”, our original assignment.
Medianites
Loved it when this guy came up with the word Medianites, comparing them to the ancient Midianites that gave the Israelites a hard time moment after moment. The main character of this people group was not to conquer, not to steel or to take over but to destroy. Moment after moment when the harvest was ready, they came in and walked the land while destroying the previous harvest. I mean, wouldn’t that cause despair in your daily efforts. Ask Gideon, who developed a smart creative solution. “Now the angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the winepress to hide it from the Midianites.” Judges 6:11 ESV More or less living with the problem and silenced by the despair they caused.
Now, that’s why I love the word Medianites, comparing the Media with this ancient nation. They carry the identity mentioned in John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Their strategy is getting into the mind, the place Paul tells us to be renewed from. (Romans 12:2)

My main call? Don’t settle with the despair! Do not develop creative solutions while being silenced by the despair. Speak up, speak out, and became a Voice of the Kingdom. Do not wait till all this over and finally get “to Heaven” answering the difficult question “What did you do and why didn’t you trust Me!”
It will be hard to answer the Lord that you were busy with the demands of Life while He cried out “WHO CAN I SEND?”.
“But I found no one” is a shocking statement when He will repeat it while we stand before the Throne.
