Whatever the reason or hidden agenda is behind the worldwide paralyzing-panicking crisis, somehow I hope you understand that our Heavenly Father is not passive in this issue!

Many times, in the Old Testament when He is planning to address the Israelites because of disconnection or disobedience, the best way to get their attention was by a famine, in whatever form!

While of course the accuser of the brethren is trying to bend this whole issue into his advantage and despite the fact that maybe even God is using it, the original initiative and control always is in the hands and heart of our Lord! In no way God is looking the other way and definitely He is not surprised by it!

No, for me it is about mankind coming to the utmost limits of their options, causing them to acknowledge or reject His hand for deliverance! It’s a marking point for leaderships and nations to turn or to run!

For us as followers of Christ (still hesitate to use the word Christians) I believe it is a deep warning to check our sources and dubbele check our relationships! It’s about checking the basis of our lives and being honest about our priorities. What defines us and what do we believe.

As all of us, believers and nonbelievers are facing the same challenges these days, what is our message and where can we say that “we” are different.

While around us, a paralyzing panic is causing mankind to plunder stores and act in fear, where do we stand and what proves our unshakable foundation.

When we go with the flow of this chaos, there is no hope for the world and they will “wait” in vain for “the revealing of the sons of God”.

“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” Romans 8:19-22 NKJV

Although I know there is an evil agenda, driven by evil people and although I firmly believe that there is so much more behind the disasters that are sweeping the world, we need to rise above the conclusion that we are victims of it, victims of the darkness.

No, we are not!

Yes, there is hatred against the followers of our Lord Jesus! Yes there is still a ongoing war in the heavenly realms that is penetrating the airwaves with fear and paralyzing panic, but when we are also intimidated by these attacks, hope is gone.

When I use “Christians” to address the total group, today again a separating moment is happening where it’s not about being saved but about ruling and reigning with Christ from His throne and with His authority!

It is time for the revealing of the sons of God! It is time for this battle to be finished and for a harvest to be brought in!

I urge you to check your armer.

I urge you to fill you lamps.

I urge you to review your priorities.

I urge you return to your first and only Love.

Check your treasure because that’s where you will find your heart!

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV

As famine sweeps the land, may a hunger for the Word arise and may the Word be enough! Enough to gain strength and enough to be equipped!
