The heart of a father

Silent Saturday

Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Silent Saturday, names so significant defining the days in the history of our faith!

I try to understand the emotions and tension on the day of Jesus’ “death”.

The pain of His family, the despair of His followers, the struggle of His betrayer…

While death was the actual physical situation and silence was the result, the earth in real was trembling. As grieve and disappointment was the obvious situation, the battle, hidden for the most of them, actually started and hell broke loose as it had to let go its fiercely grip on mankind.

REST – The ultimate weapon

By Clay Sikes

Is much chaos around you? Are you facing one challenge after another? Does hell seem to erupt against you in routine fashion? Do you see the world in greater levels of decay? The systems of men are dying; Babylon is falling and chaos spills over this planet is grand fashion. Could it be the chaos will get worse; the attacks against us more fierce? The answer is “absolutely!” Chaos is the new normal. “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds…” Again, chaos is the new normal, but His elect will stand up, stand strong, and stand out as lights in an ever darkening world. Masses will run to the light!!! Continue reading

The Restoration and Rise of Families!

By Katie Barker

“I am raising up families who will minister together. These families will be markers of all I will bring forth in My Body, for I desire to see spiritual mothers and fathers equipping and releasing those coming after them into the fullness of the destiny I have for them. I desire to see an honoring of the path pioneered by the previous generation. Unity will be the hallmark of these families and it will flow from a solid foundation of love and a firm standing on the truth of My Word. Watch for the rise of these families.”

I heard the Lord say, “I am restoring families and the key role of the family. One of the greatest ploys of the enemy has been the degradation of family, and with this has come a departure from the fullness I intended for My people. With this has come a departure from My ways. Many are walking with deep hurt and mistrust but I am coming to heal wounds and bring restoration.” Continue reading

The Treasures of Africa

I am posting the last chapter of Vaughn Martin’s book: Transforming the Heart of Africa and as far as I can see, the book is Out of Print and Limited Available.
In the process of reconnecting the nation of Sweden to it’s original calling, missions, sharing the love of God to the nations, God is helping us to focus on the legacy of this mission calling in the continent of Africa. Burundi, this tiny (in)significant nation was the start. My friendship with my amazing friend from South Africa and now finding the script of this book that I helped to publish some years ago… All points to a leading of God in a specific direction.

Recently I am connected to an intercession network in Africa and I pray that this message will touch you, equip you and challenge you my dear brothers in Africa in leading positions!

By Vaughn Martin

Africa has been given an abundance of God’s blessings and riches.  Africa is blessed with more than enough cultivatable land to feed her people.  Africa is not overcrowded.  Africa has been given an abundance of mineral wealth including even gold and diamonds.  The natural beauty of Africa attracts millions of tourists to Africa every year. So, how about Yesterday

As there will always be a yesterday, we are not so sure that there will be a tomorrow!

But then what about yesterday, as we are so obviously being taught that looking back is a wrong thing to do. But reflecting yesterday from the perspective of approaching tomorrow is the wisest thing you can ever do.

What did Jesus then really mean when He said in Luke 9:62 “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” Isn’t the bible clear about the memory stones, the refocussing in order to get the right understanding of tomorrow? Joshua 4:6 Let this be a sign among you, so that when your children ask later, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ then you shall say to them…

Yes, God is all about tomorrow, but yet He is very serious about restoring the foundations of old (Isaiah 58:12).

So, how about your yesterday. What did it give, where did you took that wrong exit, what about those destined people you overlooked, those opportunities you missed.

And yes, there will always be a yesterday full of regrets, but when we observe, analyse, learn and continue, the yesterday will be the foundation of tomorrow! The bible also says never to let the sun goes down over your anger. Deal with it before the day closes and never ever drag the stuff into your tomorrow.

And then of course there is the issue of worrying! (Matthew 6:25 “This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?”) The delaying of taking your bad experience as the measure stick for tomorrow.

When the trouble of yesterday determine the course of tomorrow, we live yesterday and repeat it day after day, so there will never be a new and fresh tomorrow!

Kingdom is about tomorrow and it is necessary to live with a future perspective. You sow in order to reap. You plant today in order to see growth and result tomorrow. You raise the child to see it grow up and mature tomorrow. You edify the church so they can live their assignment of tomorrow.

Life is about preparing. Generational understanding is about a tomorrow perspective. Stealing the vision is therefor a cruel and destructive thing as you rob them from there destiny. When there is no vision, there is no tomorrow! The people perish and becomes depended of your vision, your tomorrow and thats where you kill the identity of a nation.

As we sat there yesterday in my little office and reviewed the process of the past few months, from the moment we met and went into the process of talking destiny and purpose, the statement he made about not being sure about my intentions was of course a bit confronting. But I realised it was driven by past experiences, past defined values and understandings.

We need to review the values of our yesterday (full of experiences that moulded our observation) when they became the blockage of releasing the destined tomorrows in our live.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. 34 Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Nehemiah’s Concern

I wrote the header of this block some days ago and never finished as the title dropped in my spirit by seeing the efforts of so many beautiful young churches. Nehemiah was a man with an overview insight and a sensitive heart, which is a rare but essential combination. He saw the building efforts, heard about the situation of his people and directly reacted with the gift that was given to him: a strategic builder, submitted to the heart of God.

The need of a safe environment when a ‘city’ is in constant danger through the attacks of a persistant enemy!

Today I was rereading a mail by a young friend who googled on Gates, walls and watchmen as he was sending me this graet link. I believe it are the right words that I can add to the “Nehemiah’s concern” impression! Continue reading

Running Out of Oil?

The Parable of the 10 Virgins

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom. Five of them were foolish and five were sensible. When the foolish took their lamps, they didn’t take olive oil with them. But the sensible ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps. Continue reading

Words of prophecy:

In these days, I am bringing my “forerunners” into perfect position – both spiritually and locationally. At times, this “transition” will cause you to experience a “seeming” disorientation that will lead you to feel a certain “discomfort” but, in reality, I am doing the necessary fine-tuning [polishing] that will, ultimately, lead you into the fullness of your precious destiny [Kingdom-position]. Truly I say to you, I will make ALL things evident in this most critical and glorious hour to those who truly love Me – those whose heart is wholly given to My highest purposes. For it is My deepest heart-desire to establish a Glorious Church in the earth – a Church without spot or wrinkle. Trust Me in ALL things for I am with you – and I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you!

Rejoice – for the fullness of time concerning My “forerunners” has come!

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision”….  Joel 3:14 NASB

“It is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord”…. Luke 1:17 NASB

God is making ALL things evident in these days – particularly in the lives of the “forerunners” [as rapid advancement in the remnant Church is imminent] and, thus, it is certain that “revelation” will come in and “flood” every area of the heart that is truly seeking the fullness of the Father’s Will and destiny [destination] for their life and ministry. Our task as the remnant Church [both individually and corporately] is to continually love [obey] God [the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit] with ALL of our heart – KNOWING that not only is He preparing us perfectly for all that lies ahead but, also, that He [in His faithfulness] will keep us on the narrow path of perfect obedience regardless of what [or who] the Enemy comes against us with. The battle will not be long now – and soon more revelation [strategies] concerning the deeper mysteries of the Church and the Kingdom will be forthcoming to all those who are truly seeking it.

Teacher vs. Father

By Joshua Horak

For though you have countless guides [teachers] in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.” (1 Corinthians 4:15, ESV)

It was my 13th birthday. Tragedy struck. My parents announced to my sister and I that they were getting a divorce. My father was removed from my home.

Despite this tragedy, Father God remained faithful to me throughout my youth and into adulthood by giving me a handful of spiritual father’s. Now that I am both a natural and spiritual father, I recognize that as His Grace. Because of the divorce, I should have been a statistic. However, God altered this probability by ‘fathering’ me through the skin of godly men who chose to invest time in me and love me despite my weaknesses and failures. Continue reading

Songs of Ascents (13) – Resting Place

Psalm 132

David and Zion Chosen

A song of ascents.

Lord, remember David
and all the hardships he endured,
and how he swore an oath to the Lord,
making a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
“I will not enter my house
or get into my bed,
I will not allow my eyes to sleep
or my eyelids to slumber
until I find a place for the Lord,
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

We heard of the ark in Ephrathah;
we found it in the fields of Jaar.
Let us go to His dwelling place;
let us worship at His footstool.
Rise up, Lord, come to Your resting place,
You and Your powerful ark.
May Your priests be clothed with righteousness,
and may Your godly people shout for joy.
10 Because of Your servant David,
do not reject Your anointed one.

11 The Lord swore an oath to David,
a promise He will not abandon:
“I will set one of your descendants
on your throne.
12 If your sons keep My covenant
and My decrees that I will teach them,
their sons will also sit on your throne forever.”

13 For the Lord has chosen Zion;
He has desired it for His home:
14 “This is My resting place forever;
I will make My home here
because I have desired it.
15 I will abundantly bless its food;
I will satisfy its needy with bread.
16 I will clothe its priests with salvation,
and its godly people will shout for joy.
17 There I will make a horn grow for David;
I have prepared a lamp for My anointed one.
18 I will clothe his enemies with shame,
but the crown he wears will be glorious.”

This is My resting place forever; I will make My home here because I have desired it.
So, the news is all about a world that has destroyed and is destroying even more the places of old that remember us about  the existence of God! By now, all the forces are joined together to get ride of the physical expression of Christianity and of the Root of it: Israel! The anger that is in the heart of those who represent the violence of Islam is mostly the same as that from those in the gay community. Laws are designed to limit or eliminate the way we Worship our God! With a forceable effort, society is ‘freeing’ itself from the laws and values that stood for ‘the fear of the Lord’!
This is a war beyond understanding and while many still live in the ignorance, other are thinking: How did this happen?
I hope, by now, that we understand that this is beyond Islam and gay communities and communism or whatever manmade ‘weapon’, but that is the clash between darkness and Light, between the God of Heaven and the demonic forces. It is a battle between ruling the minds of the people or declaring freedom! It makes clear more than ever that religion, rules, weapons, prisons, laws and sectarian thinking are all from the same pitt of hell!

The great thing of course that we know the outcome and the Light will always win from darkness!

So, what is our answer?
“I will not enter my house
or get into my bed,
I will not allow my eyes to sleep
or my eyelids to slumber
until I find a place for the Lord,
a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
And where better can we do it, than in the place of our authority: Our Houses!

Songs of Ascents (8) – Building the House

Psalm 127

The Blessing of the Lord

A Solomonic song of ascents.

1 Unless the Lord builds a house,
its builders labor over it in vain;
unless the Lord watches over a city,
the watchman stays alert in vain.

In Vain

2 In vain you get up early and stay up late,
working hard to have enough food—
yes, He gives sleep to the one He loves.

3 Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord,
children, a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior
are the sons born in one’s youth.

5 Happy is the man who has filled his quiver with them.
Such men will never be put to shame
when they speak with their enemies at the city gate.

Some of My thoughts

So when we ask ourself: How come we don’t see results, how come they still attack and conquer, how come there is still lack? The legal, obvious question would be: Who is Building Your House? Who watches over The City?

As the System challenges me…

We have challenged the system and now the system (in us) is challenging us…

Read 1 Peter 4

Following Christ
1 Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, equip yourselves also with the same resolved — because the one who suffered in the flesh has finished with sin — 2 in order to live the remaining time in the flesh, no longer for human desires, but for God’s will. 3 For there has already been enough time spent in doing what the pagans choose to do: carrying on in unrestrained behavior, evil desires, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and lawless idolatry. 4 So they are surprised that you don’t plunge with them into the same flood of wild living — and they slander you. 5 They will give an account to the One who stands ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this reason the gospel was also preached to those who are now dead, so that, although they might be judged by men in the fleshly realm, they might live by God in the spiritual realm.

End-Time Ethics
7 Now the end of all things is near; therefore, be serious and disciplinedt for prayer. 8 Above all, maintainan intense lov for each other, since love covers a multitude of sins, 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining. 10 Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, it should be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, it should be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

Christian Suffering
12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you as if something unusual were happening to you. 13 Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of the Messiah, so that you may also rejoice with great joy at the revelation of His glory. 14 If you are ridiculed for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 None of you, however, should suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or a meddler. 16 But if anyone suffers as a “Christian,” he should not be ashamed but should glorify God in having that name. 17 For the time has come for judgment to begin with God’s household, and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?

Meddler – A busybody, do-gooder, meddler or marplotis someone who meddles in the affairs of others.

I started to think out loud about the way God is judging the body of Christ at the moment, mainly by revealing the weakness of the system we have created. The verse from 1 Peter  4:17 came to my mind and when I started to read the whole chapter, I was taken by surprise!

Of course we know the verse and we know what is happening at the moment all around the world as in a large way the excesses and extravagances are coming in the open. To me not surprisingly since the system is demanding its victims, through lack and failure. I have been writing about it many times before and it could be interesting to read my post No kings in Israel.

Now, the easiest way to continue is (as I have done it before) to focus on that system, this religious giant that “functions” under the flag of christianity, but since we left the building, I choose to search for the “system” within our own little culture! Our lives, our homes, our relationship were we are directly responsible. Where we no longer can point the finger, have someone else to blame! I owe it to you all who think that it is my favourite subject! On the other hand, I am absolute certain that the main reason of favourite is my concern for the upbringing of a new generation within the same parameters, the same strongholds that made me struggle, wonder and even being called rebellious.

We have challenged the system and now the system (in us) is challenging us… or better said: I have challenged the system and now the system (in me) is challenging me…

Through my writings on Climates and Culture, there is a continuous need to ask Holy Spirit to reveal by His wisdom every part where the systems is in me, in my environment. The place where it landed, made its “rights and wrongs”, formed my perception of good and eveil, what should and what should not!

Leaving the system and with it the “spiritual” experiences revealed the desperate longing for His (real) presence and with it, it is so easy to choose the same “tools” for creating that environment again. Words like “bible-study”, “prayer-meeting”, evangelisation, easily show up as a translation of the old habits. We even come up with these apologies as: there was nothing wrong with it, as if we need to defend our automatic moulded minds.

Yesterday I heard this great statement: The reason of darkness is the absence of Light! We have to be honest that when God is testing us, confronting us, He needs to expose the lack of real light in our environment and therefor He needs to get to the cause of it… Us!

So, now while the system is challenging me and those close around me, my prayer and longing is that the outcome will be what we have longed to created with our honest but religious efforts: His Kingdom here around and through my direct responsibilities!

Why Are My (Garden) Seeds Not Growing?

Have you ever wondered why your seeds failed to germinate properly? Seeding too deeply, planting in cold soil, extremes of watering, improper soil preparation, birds or squirrels and poor seed are the most common causes for seeds failing to germinate.
Probably one of the most disappointing things in gardening is to have prepared the soil and sown the seed, only to have a partial or complete failure of germination. Here are a few of the pitfalls you can overcome by seeding properly.
One of the major factors in seeds not sprouting properly is planting them too deeply. As a rule of thumb, no garden seed should be planted any deeper than three times the diameter of the seed you are sowing. In the case of some seeds, they should not be covered with soil at all. Therefore it’s very important that you read and follow directions on the seed packet. Generally, packet information will suggest proper planting times, locations, planting depth and proper spacing of the particular types of plants you are seeding.
seeds growing

So far the article I was reading to see what could be wrong in the garden…

I loved the surprising moment hitting of these profound words and I hope you have the same little smile on the right (or left) corner of your mouth as I noticed myself reading this revealing article. It goes on about the how and the why and the when of the problem of growing fruit in due season but… it helped me to get back (and deeper) to the Culture and Climate problem I have been addressing for the past few posts.

Let me say first that I am not, and please hear the out loud NOT, just speaking to an audience (distant from myself), addressing “church” issues! No, I am addressing and even finding answers to my own situation, my everyday around me issues in order to get hold on the things that seems have been there forever. We sing, talk and proclaim NEW almost everyday, we long for the NEW, the fresh, the fruitful and yet we still experience the things that grew from an atmosphere into a culture. The situation that mindsets (unwillingly) became a voice in the arguments and causes you to get so disappointed that you don’t even dare to touch the theme again. You find yourself avoiding subjects, creating answers that makes you craftily sailing around the cliffs.

A garden has a culture of its own and it is the climate that creates it. The wind, the rain, the humidity, the shadow and sun, the position, all issues that define a climate and with it, the garden “works” with it in it’s culture. Families can be or, let’s be honest, are like that. But what works for a garden is not meant to be for a social structure. Yes, there influences that define the nature of a social community, but other than “gardens” we are called to be in control, to subdue since the human “culture” is as much under the influence of The Fall as the gardens we create. Mainly the reason why Jesus was addressing those issues was, because of the fact that they limited the people to see and enter the Kingdom way, the “Culture of God”.

We are not supposed to create or maintain our own culture but to reflect the Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven, which is by definition in contrast to the manmade rules and regulations.

This one confronting sentence at the end of the article made me so sad: If your seeds germinate and then the young seedlings wilt and die, the problem is likely to be… and they confront me with the responsibility of not dealing with the wrong culture before “trusting” the seeds to the soil.

The young seedlings wilt and die!”
Wilt- plant, leaf of flowerbecome limp through heat, loss of water, or disease; droop.• person: lose energy, vigour, or confidence

Most of the time we understand that we must be willing to change the garden culture because we get frustrated of the fact that our costly investments do not pay off, but when it is about the costly Seeds of the Word, invested through Death and Cross and Forsakenness, we are so ignorant and even unfaithful as Jesus would address it.

For the parents, the teachers, the (youth)pastors, let there not be the blame that we are ignorant of the Word and so, irresponsible with the Seed!

For the Sake of the New, let’s not spare the soil, the culture we created but ask the Lord what it would take to create a New Environment that will hold and multiply the Seed into the Fruits we have been praying for so strongly!

After all, what do we have to loose in a dying world!

This foreigner…

One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” (‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭15-19‬ NIV)

It is one thing to be a lepard, but what made him different from the other nine was the fact that his nationality was “Samaritan”! The words Luke describes the situation has such a deep impact: and he was a Samaritan… and even Jesus rubs it in by making a strong statement: …this foreigner!
Lets be honest, those words suggest that “being lepard” was not the issue, but being a Samaritan, a foreigner, that’s something different!
No, no, this is not about me, living in a different nation, but it helps to identify the feeling. The moment where we all (together) long for this change/healing but at the end…

Where the 10 found each other in the physical condition being removed from “the city”, at the end, where the “skin disease” was healed, the real issue stayed and wasn’t dealt with. Some how the culture background, the things that comes with the “nationality” is harder to get healed of than the “little problems” we carry with us. That’s why Jesus so specifically emphasized the “foreigner” issue. Remember that the things He mainly addressed was about not being a citizen of this world but of The Kingdom of God as the nine just went back being Jewish! Where the one guy had nothing to loose as the other nine probably had!

I see healing entering the nation, physical healing where we go on the streets and get bold enough to talk to the people and ask if we can pray with them. A great and wonderful phenomena that speaks of faith and boldness.

I hope it will be more than just an other hype that leaves the people just being “Swedish”, but that we all, the “healers” and those in need of healing will deal with this real issue, this thing that can mix the being “christian” and being “national/cultural bounded”!

The Samaritan was impacted by the Kingdom, He received the Kingdom attitude since he already was a foreigner and had nothing to loose! The other nine in contrast went back to life, to familiar, to normal and missed the Kingdom message.

Jesus’ intention is never ever to heal us for the sake of healing and than let us go back to normal. Like Moses, who’s intension was never to just get them out of Egypt! Moses’ only and one calling and desire was to bring them into the promised land. Like the people of Israel the Nine, never entered, never crossed, as Jesus’ main message was the Kingdom and not just salvation or healing!

Just a last thought: Why did Jesus made a distinction between being “cleansed” and being “made well”?

The Next Step

When the next step is too obvious, the chance of repeating the past is almost certain!

But how come?

We shout it out almost for decades, A New Thing Is Coming and as obvious is the repeating, so is the disappointment.
Reading the post of my beloved “mentor” Ron McGatlin, could maybe help us to understand the needed change and its obstacles!

The Changing “Church”
By Ron McGatlin

God is not the author of confusion. However, God is the author of change.

Confusion often results when mankind resists God’s change and attempts to hold on to the status quo too long. Natural man is prone to desire unchanging life structure and systems. However, religious man is even more dogmatic about resisting change especially regarding religion. It is nearly impossible for a devout religious person of any faith to accept major change. Jesus referred to this condition regarding the resistance to accepting the word of the kingdom as hard rocks or the hardened soil of the heart of man that would not grow the seed of the word of the kingdom (Mat 13:16-23).

Much of what we call church today is devoutly holding to the structure and systems of the past and thereby finding difficulty in accepting and moving with the kingdom of heaven reality that is coming forth on earth in the hearts and lives of many maturing sons and daughters of God. It should not be surprising to us that often newly born again, Spirit filled people can receive the word of the kingdom before those who have spent many years in religion. In biblical terms harlots and tax collectors can enter the real kingdom life before some strongly religious people.

“Church” means a different thing in the kingdom age than it did to Christians in the passing age. This is well defined in the article “Church in the Kingdom Age.” If you have not read this article lately, please read it before reading on. As we move further into the season of change more meaning may come through reviewing the article than at the first reading.

Religious Christians around the world have been well trained by religious church traditional systems. For example, we have been trained that church was a place you went to worship God with a group of people. It was led by a vicar, priest, or pastor who did most all of the religious stuff and the people watched and agreed from pews mostly as an audience. Due diligence was done as tithes and offerings were brought to pay the leaders and provide for the facilities and some mission type projects.

In recent decades there have been changes in the systems which often opened the way to lively worship and other limited participation by the laity. The distinction remained clearly defined between the clergy and the laity. The clergy were those who were ordained leaders by the system, and those who were not ordained were just ordinary people. In some Charismatic type churches, the line between clergy and laity has blurred a bit as prophetic utterances, testimonies, and prayer ministry was opened for some participation of the laity. However, it was always under the close scrutiny of the clergy or leadership that was either ordained by a system or self-appointed.

Basically the word “church,” in the kingdom, means something different unlike what it meant to most people in the religious church systems.

Church is seen as the living breathing spiritual Body of Christ. In kingdom thinking “church” refers to the spiritual family of God on earth and in heaven all connected to the One Head, Christ Jesus. Local or regional gatherings are spiritual family gatherings of spirit beings terrestrial and celestial. The rule and order of the church (family of God) is LOVE – the pure holy love of God that consumes all of our desires, inadequacies, temptations, or any other aspect of natural life. There can no sin or evil abide in the manifest presence of God and His LOVE. The pure holy love of God filling our hearts and saturating our entire being spirit, soul, and body is the manifest presence of God in us and among us.

It is in this spiritual holy environment in the presence of God’s love that we are transformed and made whole by the supernatural love-charged environment of the manifest presence of God.

Hebrews 12 provides us with a word picture of the kingdom family gathering:
22 But you have come to Mount Zion,
to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem.
You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,
23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.
You have come to God, the Judge of all,
to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant,
and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

The transition from religious church systems to the kingdom of heaven age requires severe shaking to remove anything of the past that cannot enter into the kingdom of God New Jerusalem life. Anything in the religious “church systems” and anything that it has allowed to be formed in the world that is not a part of the design of God can and will be shaken. All that can be shaken will be shaken, and only that which cannot be shaken will remain. Make no mistake, it is God who is shaking our world. God is speaking from heaven in our day.

As we continue reading in Hebrews 12 warning is given, and the shaking is described.
29 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks.
For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,
26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.”
27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made,
that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

The shaking is part of the changing to the true kingdom age church of the Spirit. All the religious man-made extra stuff that had been added to God’s original plan and purpose is being shaken away. There is a certain painfulness in the transition into the fullness of the kingdom of God church coming forth.

Even the pain of transitional shaking is needed. It becomes a blessing from God as it brings us to a state of inner brokenness that becomes the platform for God’s pure holy LOVE to fully come forth in our hearts and lives. The end result of the inner brokenness from transitional shaking is the tangible pure holy love of God that consumes and changes everything in us.

I am not sure there is any other way to truly experience this intense love for God and for one another without first experiencing the painful shaking that dissolves our strength with brokenness. Everything within us that lifts itself against the perfect way of our loving God must be dissolved. All of our self-made agendas and motives are destroyed by the painful brokenness clearing the way for the pure holy LOVE to overcome and fill our lives with the life of Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit.

We can then say with assurance, “It is no longer I that live but Christ Jesus living by the Holy Spirit where I once lived.” Thank you, Jesus; Praise you, Father God, for life in your Holy Spirit. Amen!

The Mother of us All (A MUST READ)

I really need to emphasise the significance of this message! A word in due season, a revealing and directive insight on where we are as the body of Christ today!

By Ron McGatlin

Sunday Morning May 11, 2014, around 3:30, I was awakened hearing a word from God. Fresh revelation of familiar scripture from which much had already been revealed in the past was downloading into my spirit. The past understandings begin to morph together into the light of deeper spiritual insight that is much more applicable to our lives and our journey of today. My body shook as my spirit leapt with fresh new spiritual life being poured into my spirit as my soul awakened to receive the fresh light of life coming into my spirit.

I was amazed as I saw in a glance all the intricate myriad of details of a living human being that are miraculously and meticulously formed in the womb of a mother. Every little nerve, blood vessel, internal organs, bones, muscles and on and on had to be perfectly formed according to the data contained in the DNA of the father and the mother.

A living functioning brain stored with some pre-coded data but ready to quickly grow and store untold amounts of data and connections in an organ of intelligent activity far beyond the greatest computers ever devised by man. The new miraculously formed human being is a spirit being ruling over the powerful “computer system,” designed by God modeled after God Himself and installed in a living human body. An earthly body with perfectly functioning systems that support life and are able to renew themselves continuously. In addition to all of that, self-awareness and God-awareness with feelings or emotions that are sensitive and vital to experiencing both natural and spiritual life were also created in the new person.

The Miraculous Womb of a Mother

Receiving living spiritual understanding of the role and importance of the miraculous work of a natural mother and natural womb in creating human beings, living souls into this world. The whole world including every nation and every tribe or kingdom that exist is totally dependent upon the wombs of its mothers to continue to exist. If the wombs in a nation were stopped, in one generation a nation would cease to exist. If the wombs of the mothers of a nation were stolen by another nation and the seed of that people were planted in those wombs, a new generation of entirely different human beings would replace that nation.

The establishment of a nation or a kingdom begins in the seeds planted in the wombs of the mothers in which a new living spirit/natural being is formed and birthed into the world to grow quickly in the first few years in the close intimate nurturing of the mother. An entire army or an entire nation can be formed in one generation from a unified consistent seed sowed into the wombs and first years of nurturing of the mothers of a land.

The first few years of life are the most formative time in determining the life of every human being. A line in an 1865 poem by William Ross Wallace has been quoted by a number of wise men. It says, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.” The life reality of existence passed on to the young child first by the mother and later by the father in the home begins the formation of the person and the future life that will be lived. Beyond that natural formative training, schooling or education, and life experience provide the final training of the life that the person will finally become.

A nation, tribe, or kingdom exists by what is trained into its people from conception to maturity.

A desperate work of the anti-Christ spirit is to take captive the mothers of the nations. Most of us can probably clearly see why the spirit of anti-Christ seeking to remove Christ Jesus from the nations of the world and prevent the kingdom of God from coming forth, desperately seeks to bring women under strict control. Every effort is made to capture the wombs of the nations and plant the anti-Christ seed within them, even to the point of stealing godly women and girls. We can see why the home established around a mother and father raising and educating their children in the ways of God must be destroyed for the anti-Christ agenda to accomplish its goal.

Anything that will demoralize and destroy the quality of home life and belief in God is a strong priority for the anti-Christ movements of the world. The educational and media systems must get the children out of the natural nurturing environment of godly families as early as possible and begin to retrain the next generation in immoral and ungodly life. Every potentially godly baby destroyed by abortion is one less to be dealt with later as a foreign anti-Christ people seek to rule over the land and try to stop the coming forth of the kingdom of God by producing children unto themselves.

Kingdom-minded people understand that the natural is often a clear picture into spiritual reality. The spiritual form from heaven is replicated in the natural.

Gal 4:26: but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

There is a Spirit womb of God in heaven.

That Spirit womb of God from heaven is now come down to earth to form the people of God into the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

A new breed of people are being created on earth. A people who are not truly new at all but are mankind as God originally created. A new/old creation is conceived within the spiritual mother womb coming down from heaven. The pure holy Sons of God are being miraculously and supernaturally formed in the mother womb of New Jerusalem come down to earth from heaven. These are the new mature Sons who are being birthed forth into the world to manifest the reality of the life of the kingdom of heaven on earth.

Also as it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual that the children formed in the mother womb and birthed forth into the world will mature and become themselves the mother wombs of a new generation with one Father.

If you are a part of the New Jerusalem mother, you are now in the womb of God in the Holy Spirit coming down from heaven forming us into a new creation as Sons of God, joint heirs with Christ Jesus. Even now the life-forming womb of God is coming down from heaven within and around us to form the new creation of New Jerusalem on earth from heaven. This helps us to understand the great changes of perfect love sovereignly taking place within and among us. The unreasonable and glorious love that has invaded our being is transforming who we are. We are being formed fully to the DNA of the Father in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit in the New Jerusalem of God.

As we are fully formed in the womb of New Jerusalem, we are birthed out into the world as mature holy pure sons of God to plant the seeds of the kingdom, the seed of Christ Jesus into the world. The earth and all who are willing will come into the New Jerusalem womb of God and become the recipients of the seed of the King Christ Jesus and the seeds of his kingdom.

The New Jerusalem

Gal 4:26: but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Rev 21:2-13: 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.

Spiritual Gathering of the Heavenly Jerusalem, Mother from Heaven

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel (Heb 12:22).

Notice that this gathering of the heavenly Jerusalem is spiritual and from heaven and has come down to earth. This is the assembly and “church” of those born new creations in Jesus, the “ekklesia” called out ones spiritually gathered with angels, God as judge of all, spirits of just men made perfect (fully mature), and Jesus Himself the mediator of the new covenant of the purifying blood.

This is the true church that Jesus is building that is the light of the world, the hope of the world, the mature Sons for which the whole earth groans awaiting its deliverance into the marvelous light of the kingdom of God. A city of corporate life from heaven on earth God dwelling with His people and the fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles. The life of the Garden of Eden restored in the redemption of the world.

Mat 5:14: “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Psalm 110:1-4: The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!

3 Your people shall be volunteers
In the day of Your power;
In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
4 The Lord has sworn
And will not relent,
“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”

Father God said to our Lord Jesus, “Sit at my right hand till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” How is this to be done? Is it not by the coming down of the womb of Jerusalem from above creating renewed spirit beings of mature Sons of God in Christ Jesus to carry the rod (strength) of Jesus out of New Jerusalem (Zion) now in the midst of the enemies of God?

Yes, today we are becoming willing volunteers to carry His power in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the early portion (morning) of this third day (millennium) of Christ and seventh day (millennium) since Adam and the Garden of Eden. The heavenly moisture of the youthful fresh life of God is upon us in this morning time of this new “day”.

Christ, in the mature Sons of God, is the sworn forever Priest of God after the order of Melchizedek (without human origin or man-made authority). The Priestly Kingship carried in the mature Sons of God being formed in the womb of New Jerusalem is without any human origin or man-made religious authority. It is a return to the original state of man in Adam before the fall – a return to the Garden of Eden, God with us, reality of life on earth as it is in heaven.

The rod of the strength of Christ Jesus in mature Sons will come forth to rule in the midst of His enemies. However, it will not always be that way as the wrath of God puts a final end to the enemies of Christ. As the mature Sons are formed and come forth to occupy the land, the holy angels of God are released to subdue every work of the enemy that lifts itself against Christ Jesus. The cleansing judgment will cleanse the earth of all who will not turn to God and be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. The full wrath and vengeance of God for every suffering saint of God, every abused or murdered child, every martyred missionary and minister of God will be released to correct forever the great imbalance of atrocities against the people of God.

This is described in the rest of Psalm 110

Psalm 110:5-7: The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. 6 He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. 7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.

Thus the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our God.

What can we learn from Jesus about raising kids?

Struggling with the issue of culture and habits in the way we raise our children, being a “stranger” in an other culture, easily makes things the clash between different cultures. That’s why I love this blog on raising it above our culture into His Culture!

The Message of The Kingdom (part 1)

In the coming week, I want to address the subject of The Kingdom of Heaven. When Jesus is learning us to pray, He teaches us this very important sentence: Let your Kingdom come and your will be done, on earth is it is in Heaven.
We have seen kingdoms come and go. From secular, religious, violent and wonderful, all kinds of “kingdoms” as even in these days, the message of the Kingdom is returning to the church with its many aspects.

Now, what is Kingdom, “Guds Rike” as we say it in Swedish, all about. What keeps us from establishing our own perspective, our own kind of kingdom.

In the following two scriptures, John as well as Jesus defines the required quality of receiving that Kingdom: REPENTANCE! It is not the seed, not the preaching, not the worship songs or the kind of environment (home or building) that defines the Kingdom and its Culture. It is the field, the good soil, the heart, that creates the result, the fruit, the harvest.

So, today just Scripture as I hope that this journey will bring us to a greater understanding!

Matthew 3:1-3 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”

Matthew 13

The Parable of the Sower

1 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

10 The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”

11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:

“Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]

16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17 For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

About Steve Jobs, Nehemiah and Jesus…

Maybe not the best order as I put Steve first and definitely not to be misunderstood as my first affection…

Maybe better to see it as the one I want to address first and was with us physically the most recently.

Steve Jobs
Although it can be that the things we think can be learned from Steve Jobs are “wishful” skills we gladly add to him, the legacy he left us is still great and beyond virtual reality! I have been reading his biography by Walter Isaacson two time now as the first was a more scanning/reading, lately I tried it from a more detailed attempt. I am not going try to explain, analyse or even comment him as for me the only one thing stood out: a focussed man, determined to complete the job. Apple was not “his thing”, since when he even was fired from his baby, it showed that it was not about Apple! He declared, in a time of IBM and stupid terminal environments: One person, one computer! The freedom that he was pursuing was fuelled by a passion to use technology for the better of the individual.

As his surrounding was filled with distraction, money makers, good ideas, for him there was only one assignment and no one could keep him from fulfilling that passion. Yes, it made him into a hard-to-work-with-guy, he fed the brains of the physicians and wise guys as they analysed him till nothing was left of him but… he gave us “the thing”!

Steve’s attitude, not always appreciated by the people around him, was: I am on a mission! I know what my assignment is and just don’t distract me!

Praised through all ages as the man with the best visionary strategy and an example for many people, even secular business leaders, Nehemiah is the second person that inspires me daily and deeply!

The Book of Nehemiah can be seen, as it is by many, as a blueprint for restoration, from the passion, the vision to the approach! Being totally dedicated to his task, he saw that all the effort the priest Ezra was putting into the rebuilding of the temple did not make any sense until the safety of the city was guarantied by rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. He was compassionate by the need of a nation that was discouraged, tired, without any hope after working for years without a visible result. That’s where the man nehemiah came in as his apostolic heart was moved to the bones when they gave him the repport of the status of Jerusalem. Moved and determined from that moment on that the liberty, the freedom of the individual had to be guarantied by “surrounding them” with safety! The way he connected with the need, even made him to be “guilty” of it, knowing that there was lack of the quality that he has forsaken for so many years, just “serving the king”! Taking advantage of his position, firstly he restored his identity before being able to restore the identity of his people!

I can write so much on this but I really recommend you to read the book and find the beauty of it’s lessons for today. For me now it stand out that what connect him to Steve was his passion to accomplish that one thing that lacked! The attempts to distract him by the “Dalton Brothers”, Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab, were at the end almost violent and at least very offending, accusing (Are you rebelling against the king?), trying to “work together” and even “praying together”!

Nehemiah’s attitude, not always appreciated by the people around him, was: I am on a mission! I know what my assignment is and just don’t distract me!

Only a few lines because there is no way these guys above can stand before Him because of the accomplishments, not even can we compare any of their effort to the thing He did and accomplish on behalf of our individual and with it corporate Freedom. He was in no way part of the society and therefor did not deserve “the blame and the shame” for what we did. As they wanted to make Him king, he refused every attempt to be elevated in “glory”, for the sake of the glory we were going to have!

Jesus’ approach, not always appreciated by the people around him, was: I am on a mission! I know what my assignment is and just don’t distract me!

Steve, in many ways standing out above the crowd, lived and was very much fuelled by anger, bitterness and that’s what caused the sometimes pride attitude that he was carrying.
Nehemiah took his job very seriously because he knew that he was part of the problem and therefor needed to be physically involved.
Jesus was moved by that fact alone that His father was grieved and saddened by the condition of His creation. His only reaction was: Father send me!

What can we learn from Steve Jobs and Nehemiah?

Bombarded by the “problems” in this world, the media is interfering our god-given assignment: making disciples of all nations. They know that we “cannot withdraw” from “the need in the world”!  The system is ok with us “taking care” of the needy. The only thing they don’t want us to do is building the condition for a generational safety by the way God shows us in The Word! We are people from the offspring of Jesus, with the assignment to bring His Kingdom, His justice, His conditions to the Earth.

Like Steve, Nehemiah and Jesus we need to be focused to, what ever the people around us try to make of us, accomplish the god-given assignment through the restoration of our god-given identity.

And that approach, not always appreciated by the people around us, is: We are on a mission! We know what our assignment is and just don’t distract us!

The Way Jesus Communicates…

John 4:31 In the meantime the disciples kept urging Him, “Rabbi, eat something.” 32 But He said, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.” 33 The disciples said to one another, “Could someone have brought Him something to eat?” 34 “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work,” Jesus told them.35 “Don’t you say, ‘There are still four more months, then comes the harvest’? Listen to what I’m telling you: Open your eyes and look at the fields, for they are ready for harvest. 36 The reaper is already receiving pay and gathering fruit for eternal life, so the sower and reaper can rejoice together. 37 For in this case the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap what you didn’t labor for; others have labored, and you have benefited from their labor.”

It’s hard to follow Jesus, to understand what He is addressing, when mostly the questions and the answers do not really match! The statement He makes, makes you puzzle all day long and sometimes even question the fact if He understands what you just said!

I mean, it was a perfect legal suggestion: Rabbi, eat something! Since we where with Him all day, no food was served for hours and so… the most logic thing would be to eat!

But He said... and when He says something, you better activate your spirit instead of your common sense! When you try to understand what He says with your fleshy ears, there is no way you will grasp the depth of His answers.

Just a couple of minutes ago they found Him speaking with “this woman” and during the conversation they conditioned their mind into a rejecting obstacle, missing the beauty of what happened there at that well. With all their cultural strongholds they would never be able to understand the real communication and spiritual impartation that happened, so when the woman left, they suggested Jesus to go back to business…

Just watch the words in the meantime in verse 31… just three little words that revealed their inner condition.

27 Just then His disciples arrived, and they were amazed that He was talking with a woman. Yet no one said, “What do You want?” or “Why are You talking with her?” They were amazed, unpleasantly surprised and it took them some effort not even to rebuke Him!

Walking with Jesus (which is another thing than being a christian) reveals your heart condition, your inability to understand, your pride that is build by culture and the strongholds that blocks your spiritual understanding. The way He communicates, when you dare to start walking with Him -instead of watching Him from a distance while being a christian- confronts you, but meanly enlarge your spirit for receiving.

Just a bold confession… I don’t think that the world needs another church-going-watching-from-a-distance- doing-just-your-own-thing-christian! It is time you start walking with Him and stepping into the wonderful vulnerable position of this mirror-presenting Jesus! The great thing is that behind the mirror is always a loving, saving, elevating, uplifting and building Rabbi who called you because He believe in you!

Reading the moments of Communication in the Gospels, helps you to “listen” again, when He speaks! Those simple every day moments when life present itself and He comes and elevates it into a learning moment! The moment you start walking, it takes you out of the benches in the building, into the life you live. It connects every minute of your being and weaves it into an accurate up-to-date follower of Christ.

When they would hit the pause button and have left for a simple lunch, they would have missed the most beautiful moment of the day, when the village came to meet Jesus. They would have missed the most beautiful statement of the day: “We no longer believe because of what you said, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Savior of the world.”
