Happy is one who cares for the poor; the Lord will save him in a day of adversity. (Psalms 41:1 HCSB)
It was all about the Kingdom of Jesus, His reigning place and we reigning with Him from the place of our authority as we gathered this early morning to pray together! Out of nothing I heard this sentence in my spirit: Don’t give the poor your poverty!
As you may know, part of our ministry/calling/passion is about Joseph, preparing the Storehouses for times of (spiritual) hunger. Over the past years being here in the nation of Sweden, we have sensed the lack of food, as there was an abundance of milk(products) but the real solid food wasn’t on the table.
Lots of reasons as even yesterday I was confronted with the history of rejecting messages and messengers.
About the milk
Like newborn infants, desire the pure spiritual milk, so that you may grow by it for your salvation, (1 Peter 2:2 HCSB)
Yes, Peter is writing about the need of real pure spiritual milk, addressing the process of new believers, but Paul on the other hand is correcting and even warning the (supposed to be mature) christians of Corinthians: Brothers, I was not able to speak to you as spiritual people but as people of the flesh, as babies in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, because you were not yet ready for it. In fact, you are still not ready, because you are still fleshly. For since there is envy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and living like unbelievers? For whenever someone says, “I’m with Paul,” and another, “I’m with Apollos,” are you not unspiritual people? (1 Corinthians 3:1-4 HCSB)
In many ways, the immaturity is a very visible thing, not just here in Sweden. The walking in the flesh, the divisions, the crying like babies, is a result of the absence of spiritual insight (and upbringing) in those who needs to be spiritual providers for the new youngborns!
But, a new day is rising, a new generation is raised up by bold and spiritual parents, who no longer give away their responsibilities but take effort sowing the good seed, providing the good food! As I was watching one of my children teaching the (grand)children about spiritual authority, my heart rejoiced of the absence of childish talk but addressing the spirit of the kids by words that awakens their inner man!
Don’t give the poor your poverty
Famine is God’s way to draw the people back to His heart, to make them turn and realize that He is the provider and we are called to distribute the abundance of His storehouses, like he called Joseph in position! After the dreaming and the pitt, prison time is over and the place of authority awaits for those who have ears and shares the heart and compassion of God.
When our mindset is freed from the spirit of poverty, we will realize that we have access to His Storehouses, we have the keys given by Jesus Himself to open up and share the riches of the King!
Realize your position, disconnect from this spirit of poverty and start distributing with the authority of the Father!
Never forget that it says:
The Lord will open the heavens, (which is) the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
