Making Visible the Invisible

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” – Colossians 1:15-20

Making Visible the Invisible

It is a God given capacity to mankind! Bring forth, reveal, speak to existence! Delivery, the amazing gift to us as in the mystery of the invisible, life is being woven and where in the ending of ‘safe preparation’ for the newborn, life is presented to the visible! The cry for the unseen, for the not before and the hidden mysteries is part of the searching nature of us where we know that we live with the ‘little part’ of the yet revealed and that there is more in the invisible.

It is where you recognise the true worshipper, carrying this deliverance spirit, this being pregnant, urging to bring forth while they walk the room, moving with the spirit, waiting for the moment of awe! A serving heart that knows that they ‘see’ but have not seen yet the beauty of the new! It is in the same time the sadness of seeing the complacency, the not reaching out for more, since the people are ok with what is ‘created’, what is carved from the wood!

As creation is waiting and the not yet activated, the unknown and not used part of divine DNA is yearning, the disappointed is so often noticed when they don’t see the expected places to bring forth! Disappointment that makes them search then for ‘the thing’ in other, earthly/fleshly environments that are so good in making visible but with an replacement, an idol, attitude!

The verses above are talking about a wonderful mystery where we of course know that Jesus is the visible appearance of (the invisible) God, the only image allowed! And then there is the Body of Christ, where He became the first, the head, and we, the church will become more and more visible by the joining of bones, the melting of spirit, the full expression of Him here on earth. And yes, there is the temptation the to make the building the image, the platform and our song the truth, but praise God a new awareness of ‘visibility’ with a Kingdom of God perspective is entering the scene. Bold and prepared men and women are ready, sensing the momentum, the Kairos, just  waiting for the Trumpet, the activation by the Spirit.

Bring forth, reveal, speak to existence, declare and deliver!

Make visible the invisible!

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.”
