Thirtythree:Three

More than ever it is a 33:3 time where we move away from the tendency to explain “from a different perspective” the old views and strongholds in “Christianity”, honoring of course where we come from without judging!

I know, it’s an odd tittle with so much questions raising by reading it. I challenge you, without further reading to sit for say 15 minutes and just pounder on the title of this blogpost.
Challenge yourself before you continue to read on.

Pause and Pounder

Well, in this silent 15 minutes I hope you understand the challenge where we all need to let go, to empty our minds from the thoughts, the demanding always present thoughts, affected by the busyness of life. Living in a 24/7 disconnected society, there is always someone who thinks you need to know, to listen or to see. There is an abundant of signals that are designed to interfere with our thought life and even are specificly send to deeply distract us.

My 333 title stand for the very verse that has been there always since the moment a friend from the States gave it to me in 1968, Jeremiah 33:3. Not even recognised at that moment but it became the invitation with the promise that made my life different, challenging, difficult also, but so amazingly rich.

Living in this significant 333 timeframe of life, I awoke this morning again at 333 on my digital clock and realised that it was like a sound of the shofar, the silver trumpet, referring also to my former blogpost called A 911 Call.

As a fellowship we felt to take 6 weeks to reflect and search for a deeper insight in our position here in Sweden for the next season and therefor this prayer is so significant.

‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Just remember that your search is not for yourself, but for a world in crying need of direction, of deliverance, of being lead out of Egypt. With world of course I mean those that cross your path. Those that want to know in order to move on. It’s ok when you are still in your place of uncertainty to ask the Lord but we need to grow up, move forward and take responsibility for the reason of being here on earth. When all we sense is a painful dragging of the past, don’t stop moving with Him but in the journey He will heal us. It’s the obedience, the willingness to overcome the tendency to stop and look for the perfect solution.

“For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:19-22‬ ‭ESV‬‬

So, when the Lord speaks to Jeremiah, the context of his life is prison, exile. Not really a perfect situation and definitely in need of all the prayers we tend to send up, getting very disappointed when the silence of the Lord is deafening. Jeremiah knew the situation they were in, the reason of the exile and therefor, when the Lord challenged Him in the words of 333, he knew that there was a ‘despite of’ attitude needed here, an against all odds reaction. Being a Prophet, his most important answer needed to be focussing on his function, not his situation. He needed to understand the things, the unsearchable things he didn’t know off as they were key for the time ahead.

Now this is what I want you to understand as much as I can understand the cry over your situation, feeling the pressure we all live in. The world is crying loud and painful for those that can stand in the gap, speaking the words that break the yoke and heal the land.

Dear friends, the atmosphere is full of His answers and the need for the obedient ones to reach out their hands into the invisible realm and drag the answers into the visible is more than ever urgent.
The time where we know platforms, pulpits and positions became the big part of disappointment and bitterness, today it’s you and me, the remnant, the body of Christ that is next in line. Your function is your focus and a ‘despite of’ reaction must be your daily call.

Empty your conclusions, silence your pain of undissolved issues and take your position in the heavily realm.

Can it be more obvious?
